What are Unique Nako Features:
Nako Synchronization:
Nako Synchronization:
ODBC Connection Authorization:
- One database principal. Nako automatically links to your payroll through ODBC to update and maintain employee records.
- Employee records are automatically loaded and changed from your payroll into the Nako Software.
- Eliminates ghost employees and incorrect capturing of employee records and data.
Nako Shift Management:
- ODBC is the abbreviation for “Open Data Base Connectivity”, which is a standard database access method developed by Microsoft.
- A data source must be defined for each payroll company. This will be done via the ODBC administration tool where your payroll will create a Username and Password with specific access rights for each payroll company in order to ensure confidentiality.
- ODBC is only a “One-Way” integrator from your payroll to the Nako application. No data in your payroll can be changed or altered in any way by using ODBC.
Nako Standard Reporting:
- Shift rules can be added and changed by the Nako Administrator.
- Multiple shift allocation per employee with automatic shift rule application.
- Accommodate unlimited shift rules per employee, group and departments.
- Shift allocation over any period of time. From one day into the next.
- Automatically add allowed break time for specified employees. Grace period on bathroom breaks, short interval, rest periods and many more with set specific times.
- Automatic lunch break allocation, lunch period detection.
- Nako automatically splits shift rules between the various types of shifts.
Example: When an employee starts work on a Normal working day and the shift ends on a paid public holiday, Nako will automatically apply the normal working day rules up to midnight and the remainder of the shift will be calculated according to the paid public holiday shift rules. The same rule applies to weekend and Sunday shifts.- Set specific grace time, rounding off and setting start and end times to specified shift rules.
Example: When an employee comes in 5 minutes prior to the start time of an applicable shift, Nako can allocate the time to either the next shift or apply time to current shift or split both rules.- Various overtime calculation rules daily and periodically.
